Production Line Shift Supervisor
It’s an exciting time in Belle Fourche! Albany Farms is expanding our team, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Line Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards for our ramen noodle line.
Key Skills and job duties for the Production Line Shift Supervisor position:
Train and manage production team members on the assigned shift.
Oversee the daily workflow, assignments, and production of the assigned shift.
Collaborate with Plant Manager and Human Resources Manager to provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Work with Human Resources Manager to prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
Work with the maintenance team to troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise.
Ensure that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with Plant Manager to schedule and lead safety and product trainings.
Ensure paperwork and reports are completed and signed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must:
Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
Be able to perform repetitive movement stand/walk/listen for up to 8-10 hours per shift. And able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Have a proven track record of excellent supervisory and leadership skills, be a team player, able to communicate well with others, and work along side the team on the production line.
Be able to work at a fast pace, repetitive work environment, with strong ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Adhere to all safety requirements, including but not limited to, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and work conditions.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
